Its better than late than never, We would like to post the recent news update about the strong earthquake that hits Chile.

More than 400 deaths had been reported and the count still rising. Chile was hit by 8.8 magnitude earthquake yesterday and caused severe damage.

The earthquake from Chile prompts region-wide tsunami warning from the countries around the Pacific Ocean. This is the strongest earthquake felt by Chile. The epicenter of Chile’s Earthquake is from the Maule Region about 8 kilometers from west of Curanipe.

Hawaii Tsunami 2010 Videos

The strong earthquake from Chile generates tsunami alert from all the countries along Pacific Ocean. Japan, Philippines, Hongkong and specially Hawaii!

Three to Four feet tsunami waves was expected to blast on Hawaii coastals. Alarms , sirens were heard as a sign from all inhabitants along the coastal area.

At 2pm tsunami alert for Hawaii has been canceled. Water level fluctuated and dropped about half a foot dramatically.

A whale instructor from Seaworld died Wednesday as his pet whale grabs him and pulled down that makes him drown. The catastrophe happened during trade show at SeaWorld.

Robert Harris’ novel entitled “The Ghost” becomes alive in the movie The Ghost writer, a movie directed by Roman Polanski. This movie was on hold before due to Polanski’s arrest.

The movie flow of The Ghost writer was made almost 90% based from the novel.
Its a story of a British ghostwriter, The Ghost agrees to complete the memoirs of its previous British Prime Minister Adam Lang, The project becomes doomed from the start, not least because his predecessor in the long-term project assistant Lang, died in an accident. Spirit flies to work on the project in the middle of winter, on the beach house on an island off the east coast of the United States.

But the next day after his arrival, a former British defense minister accuses Lang, to allow the illegal seizure of suspected terrorists and bring them to torture by the CIA as a war crime. The dispute led to a swarm of reporters and protesters in a mansion on the island, where Lang was left with his wife, Ruth, and her personal assistant (and lover), Amelia. Works like the Spirit begins to discover clues that suggest that his predecessor may have stumbled upon a dark secret that Lang joins the CIA, and that something is hiding the information in the manuscript he left behind.

CBS rejects the ad submitted by ManCrunch for Super Bowl 2010. The video shows a two guys kissing each other. Dominic Friesen spokesman of ManCrunch was very disappointed in the ads rejection.. They were calling on same sex advocacy groups to support them to make a petition in CBS.

Jerome David Salinger, author of The Catcher in the Rye was died yesterday at age 91 in New Hampshire. JD Salinger’s book that has sold over 60 million copies worldwide and still sells 250,000 every year, was aimed at adults but his character immediately became the quintessential anti-hero of a generation, the of adolescents growing up during the Cold War, who saw his fierce criticism against the world and morality of the fifties reflected their own concerns and anxieties.

The confrontation between the world of youth and adults also reflect the universal desire to not grow, other side of one of many American dreams and somehow that is repeated generation after generation, hence its universal success. The novel, in which Holden Caulfield recounts in the first person from a psychiatric hospital the days following his expulsion from school, became cult novel, which was taken to extremes by one of his greatest fans, Mark David Chapman, the man who murdered John Lennon in 1980. Chapman came to cite the book of the writer as the place to find the explanation for that act.

Maybe part of the fascination The guardian … also due to the mystique that has surrounded its author. One of the few images of him are preserved show him in a threatening attitude against the photographer. He fled the spotlight and the media noise. Only gave an interview in 1974 to The New York Times and telephone, to defend their privacy.
